Zeeland Athletic Club Booster members Dan VanDenBeldt (far left) and
Dan Heneveld (far right) present a $41,559 check to Zeeland East Athletic
Director Tim Ritsema (second from left) and Zeeland West Athletic
Director Mark Werley. The presentation took place on the 30-yard-line
between first and second quarters of the Zeeland East/West football
game in Zeeland Stadium September 25.
Since the club’s
beginning in 2005, the Boosters have worked hard to raise more than
$200,000 for athletic needs at Zeeland East and West High School and
Cityside and Creekside Middle Schools. They've done it with 5K races,
club memberships, concession and apparel sales, Ring of Pride brick
